… and the elephant told me the rhinos found a new waterhole, and the zebras told me the lions told them they didn’t like the taste of gazelle anymore, and the crocodiles told me…
Oh, wait. The crocodiles are right behind us. Just act natural guys, and they’ll never suspect we were gossiping about them behind their backs… right?

Yeah, we’re beautiful avians. And yeah, we have the perfect nest, the perfect 2.5 eggs (who are soon to become wonderful little chicks), but we’re not going to fall prey to the perils of infidelity like so many externally enviable couples. We’re birds. We mate for life, you know! And that’s the way it’s going to stay.

Hmm… I think these birds are trying to tell us something…
Maybe along the lines of: “In case you were wondering why we’re flying south for the winter in formation… we’re birds. We fly south for the winter in formation.” They’re being meta and obvious at the same time, I guess.

What do you mean “I’m not a freaking horse!”? You think I don’t know that?
Come on now, Bernie. You said we could play Cowboys and Indians, and you’re doing a really, really awful job being my “faithful steed” right now. Can’t you just not be selfish for once in your life and just pretend to be a stallion so your little brother can enjoy his day off from school? Pleeeeeease?

After winning choreography competitions all over the world, from Rio de Janeiro to Philadelphia to Sydney, Bailey and Brian Birdie are bringing their high-flying dangerous dance on tour all over America. Combining the sensuality of tango and flamenco with the brazen boldness of hip-hop and the esoteric fluidity of interpretive dance, this feathered troupe’s trademark routine is guaranteed to keep you on your talons!

Ugh… I told Alec and Flicka that they needed to calm down, but they just didn’t listen… and now they’re plummeting off this perch into the perilous abyss that is an urban alleyway. Oh well, at least they can fly.
But seriously. It’s crap like this that makes me ashamed to be a bird.

Awww, Kevin, you’re just so sweet, and cute, and funny and smart… and your breast is so red! I think I’m starting to get a little color under the wings myself… Shall we take this back to my birdhouse?
