This makes more sense to me than it probably should. I mean, both cats and octopuses are masters of disguise… and they both are capable of speeding around stealthily… and they’re both natural-born predators.
And also, they’re cute. Evil and terrifying, but still, cute.

Let this be a lesson to all of you: Language barriers DO NOT prevent kittehs from being the evil, menacing pranksters they always are. If anything, it only makes their treachery crueler, since you can’t even ask them to stop in a way they’ll understand (and promptly ignore).
Why, you ask? Well, I don’t know… I just have this gut feeling that tomorrow’s going to be an awful day for you. Like, when you wake up, you might be surprised to find all your clothes and shoes torn to shreds, and your goldfish might mysteriously be missing from its tank, and all the toilet paper in your bathroom might be shredded and rearranged mosaic-style to spell out “REDRUM” on the floor.
But I don’t know. I’m just speculating. Let’s just call it a hunch.
